Funding Organization: AFRICA WOMEN’S DEVELOPMENT FUND (AWDF)
Funding focus: To dismantle the barriers to economic justice and equality for African women, girls and gender diverse persons by reimagining economies, and rethinking mechanisations, craft, and intellectual knowledge from micro to macro level
Eligibility Criteria: Registered organisations, unregistered groups and networks led by African women, girls and gender diverse persons
Regional and national actors; networks, think tanks and collectives that are keen on holding spaces and dialogue; influencing agenda setting, advocacy and macroeconomic policy engagement in Africa are encouraged to apply.
Organisations led by women, girls and gender diverse persons, especially those led by persons with disabilities and other minoritised groups in French, Arabic and Portuguese speaking African countries are particularly encouraged to apply.
Grant Limit: Between USD 5,000 and USD 30,000
