Funding focus: Support the development of climate adaptation policies and the revision of national, regional or local climate adaptation strategies and plans, Implementing state-of-the art tools for climate risk assessment or selection of cost-effective adaptation measures for dealing with climate threats and solutions for adaptation, Development and implementation of nature-based solutions for different types of areas (rural, urban and coastal), Climate-proofing and resilience of infrastructure and buildings, Adaptation solutions for agriculture and forestry, Water management, Climate adaptation and health, Preparedness for compound risks and cascading risks, Financial instruments, innovative solutions and public private collaboration on insurance and loss data

Eligibility Criteria: In order to be eligible, the applicants (beneficiaries and affiliated entities) must: be legal entities (public or private bodies), be established in one of the eligible countries, i.e.: EU Member States (including overseas countries and territories (OCTs)), non-EU countries: listed EEA countries and countries associated to the LIFE Programme, the coordinator must be established in an eligible country

Grant Limit: Standard Action Projects (SAPs) — Maximum 60% funding rate. Total Call Budget: EUR 61,500,000. Topic budget: EUR 28,000,000. Indicative range of project budgets: EUR 1-5 Mln

  1. Our grand objectives and dreams fit in very appropriately with this Climate Adaptation Program as we are a vulnerable, Mt. Elgon landslides/Floods prone area. It is the territory in Eastern Uganda that we are in charge of as Cultural Institution. I am the Cultural Minister for Climate Change and Sustainable Development (Umukuuka Wa Bugisu Kingdom)
