Funding Organization: The Fund for responding to Loss and Damage (FRLD)
Funding focus: This initiative aims to support impactful projects that help vulnerable communities respond to and recover from climate-induced losses and damages. The fund prioritises interventions that strengthen resilience, support recovery, and reduce the long-term impacts of climate disasters. Projects should demonstrate strong impact potential and alignment with climate resilience and recovery priorities. Focus Areas: Loss and damage response for climate-affected communities, Recovery and resilience-building interventions, Climate disaster response and adaptation measures, Community-centred climate resilience strategies
Eligibility Criteria: Open globally to entities eligible under FRLD access modalities for loss and damage interventions. Applicants must demonstrate technical, operational, and financial capacity to implement large-scale climate resilience projects.
Grant Limit: USD 5,000,000 to USD 20,000,000 per project
